Passion Party Q
My DH's cousin invited US to a Passion Party at her house...it's "couples only". It will be mostly DH's cousins (male & female) with their spouses. All I thought was ewwww.
Maybe it's just because I've never been to one of these but I wouldn't feel comfortable looking at toys with my DH's cousins...or even with my cousins for that matter. I thought these things were usually all girl parties.
Would you go?

No, I wouldn't feel comfortable going. I'd love to go to one if it were just my girlfriends, but the idea of seeing my cousin and her spouse holding "certain things" and deciding if they should buy them would send me running out the door screaming.

I just had a party the other night - but it was females only! In fact, the woman who gave the party has said that she will not do a party if a man is there becasue ti tends to make women uncomfortable.
I don't think I could go to a "couples" party......

Exactly - that was my thought... who wants to see that? I don't know why she decided to do it that way

I remember speaking to an associate at a bridal show, and she said it was strictly women only, and that they dont host parties for couples.
I would feel really weird ordering stuff in front of men, especially if I was somehow related to them?

The one I went to (all women), you went to order in a private room so no one knew what you got.

My friends threw me a passion party for my bachelorette party- and it was a total scream. We had lots to drink before hand, so we were all pretty relaxed.
That said, there is NO WAY it would have been NEARLY as fun with the guys there.... Regardless of how close I am to my friend's DHs, there is NO WAY I would want to be "handling" vibrators, let alone ORDERING items in front of any men.

I'm not a prude by any means, but I couldn't go to a party like that with family.
Friends yes, but not with family members.
I wouldn't be able to look them in the eye at Thanksgiving knowing what they bought or that they knew what I bought!

 I would not go if it was mostly family there! Ewwww. But if it were friends or strangers I would go! I've never been, but I have a party there laughing the whole time! I'm so immature!

Well, usually when you order, it's private, so unless you tell someone else what you're getting, they won't know.

I have been to afew but they were girls only. Its not as fun to charge things to the men if they are sitting there. 
eta: i just had flashbacks! my friend bought Sex Rocks in college and when she was not home the other roommates and i would put them in coke just to watch it explode.
