Oddly enough, I'm creeped out, but not really. It's so peaceful up here (the entire third floor of the building is for faculty only). However, I have noticed that I get very light-headed and dizzy up here. But only up here.

You were supposed to be looking into this for us last year! We've been waiting history on the woman from the school while you've been off eating bon-bons with that new little baby of yours. (you know because you NEVER have water...so bon-bons are a really good substitute)

You are not alone! My office is haunted, too. As long as the ghost does not take my coffee, I am okay with it.

It is a very old building. It used to be an estate. The windows go up and down. And they're not that easy to open and close. I thought the window slid down because my back was to it, and my friend had a terrified look on her face and told me, no, the window went UP, and when I turned, sure enough, it had gone up.
We had slept here last year for a sleepover with the kids and heard some really wild stuff going on up on this floor, however, it was locked and there was no one up here. Also, the friend I was with this morning is the one who saw a figure in the door of her classroom one afternoon last year. Then, when she looked again, it was gone. After some investigation, several people had seen the same woman
To date, I've not been able to find out anymore history on the building. It's been here for a couple of hundred years, but there's hardly any documentation. We did find a picture of someone who lived here, and when people saw it, they would say, "THAT'S HER!" Meaning the apparition they saw. Ok, now i'm all freaked out because I'm up here alone again.

DH's aunt was just telling us this weekend about how ever since they re-did their floors in the house a ghost has been pinning them down. She said the first time she had her eyes closed and was pinned down on the couch. The second time she was pinned and she opened her eyes and saw a man with G. Washington style wig yelling at her, but there was no noise. Finally he let her go and she was hysterical crying.

Their house is built over a battle ground from the civil war era. They think that when they were pounding the floors in they must have disturbed something. DH's cousin was held down too and she's seen a "white cloud" moving around the house.

wow that's scary. I've had a few things happen to me but nothing that scary.

I find if you ask them to leave you alone they will. otherwise having a minister or priest bless the house will also help.
