We didn't until I went off the pill, then did for a little while, then stopped when we were ttc.

Now we do again until the pill starts to work .

We do right now until I go back on the pill. DH is NOT happy about it but 1 bundle of joy is enough for me for a looooooooooong time.

I hate them, it doesn't feel "right" DH and I use the pill so there is no need for them

we're using them again till i go back on the pill...and then we'll use them so dh lasts longer

We used them the first year of our marriage. I didnt want to go on the pill, I heard too many negative side effects, water retention, weight gain, etc..

we do... tried bcp...felt like i was gonna have a heart attack all the time.... and i've been off them for 9 months now....my cycle JUST went back to normal...i was 28-30 days b4 it became 50-55 days.... i was going thru ept like nothing... i didnt know what was going on anymore...

I've used the nuvaring and it was horrible. I guess everyone is just different. We don't use condoms now though -- I need to go on some other form of BC really soon because we don't need another bambino just yet.

and I agree with Jen. I hated them, completley ruined the moment.

I actually started having allergic reactions to the "plastic" and using condoms hurt. Even tha natural skin condoms were very uncomfortable to use.
Since we are TTC we aren't using anything right now

We used them a while ago, but I hate them. They irritate me.

But now, I know I'll never have to use any form of birth control again! Woohoo!

here's what I love though, and i am going to get flamed, but it is a sore spot for me.

If you don't want to use condoms fine. If it ruins the moment for you, fine. Everyone is different. But, you get these people who get PG, or have a pregnancy scare and they claim it was an "accident". Now, I understand that there are these fluke cases where people are on BC and still get PG. I also understand that there are fluke cases where people use condoms and still get PG. Nothing is 100%.

But for the people not TTC'ing, and that use nothing but "pull and pray", I'm sorry folks, maybe you weren't "actively" trying, but you certainly weren't looking to prevent it either, or you would have been more careful, if not getting PG was so important to you.

I also love how in any "accident" or "slip", they automatically blame the guy. "He didn't pull out in time." I am sorry folks, but there are two people involved in sex, and if not getting PG is so important, you take care of that BEFORE you get started. I am sure in the heat of passion, in the midst of yelling "OH GOD", you didn't stop to say "Honey, put a condom on so we don't get PG." So, you're as much to blame as he is. Two way street friends.

i mean i don't mind telling you, we are having TTC issues.

And it makes my blood boil when people say, "we used the pull and pray, but OOPS, he didn't pull out in time." "Hope I'm not PG."

Ditto, ditto, ditto! And unless you are TRULY OTL, this "method" of bc is irresponsible and careless IMO. You CAN get PG even if you do "pull" on time...

I mean, I can NEVER imagine having to "pull" in the heat of passion, much less, asking my partner to do it. There are SO many choices of BC today.
