At my old job- last year I got a pen. The year before a snow globe 
I'm not sure what they do here at my new job.

We get a "years of service" award. For me, with 5 1/2 years of service, I get a whopping $250...after tax its about $130. It's a joke.
For "staff appreciation day" we got a tire gauge once and a folding chair another time. Bizarre.
ETA: I worked at another place before this and they gave me $4,000! Plus a $5,000 raise - it was a very Merry Xmas for me!

We get a bonus for Christmas- not a "super" bonus, but still, it's nice to have. And last year we all got a pointsettia plant (which I think were accidentally left in a car overnight in the freezing cold, so when we got them - not too perky . )
And for Thanksgiving we each get a turkey and a bottle of red or white wine.

WOW! Some of you have bizarre companies!
Each year our company gives us the gift of "time"...when means they give us extra paid time off and you can either take all of christmas week or all of new years week and not have to use one single vacation day.
I think its the nicest thing in the world.

DH gets a $30 coupon for butterball. It's actually nice becuase most supermarkets take it for any groceries, not just butterball.
He also gets really good $$$ bonus' on January 15th.

We've gotten similar things for "staff appreciation day"
This past year I think it was a flashlight?? Another time, an umbrella.. ALL with the name of my firm EMBLAZONED on it  hence making it useless to me

It usually is...but each year we wonder if this is the year they are not going to do it since they don't announce it until about 12/16...people are already making bets on what day we are going to hear the announcements.

A card.
We used to get little bonuses. Then one year we got a half of a bonus, with a promsie for the rest later, which never came. last year we were promised bonsusafter the 1st quarter, instead of Christmas, & that never came.
We do have a nice Christmas lunch with a secret santa & then usually drinks on the company with a guest afterward.
The 3 of us in my department exchange gifts & my supervisor is always very thoughtful & generous.

our co gives us a holiday party at the chcc, with a guest at no cost to us.
and we get a bonus, usually not millions, but any amount they give me is more then enough for me.
and we usually get a gift too....last year we got digital cameras and printers.

OK we DO get a Christmas bonus...but I don't consider that to be a gift. I send a gift to the people in the office in Florida (the boss and 2 assistants) and they sent me something last year, except the boss.
Bonus is earned, not a gift. Besides, it is only to better his taxes!!!
Dh gets: Christmas Party at Rockefeller Center, and an hour skating JUST for his company....plus a Tiffany's cristal apple. And a bonus, but again, the bonus is not a gift IMO.
