In good times & in bad..
In general I'm the one who is pretty strong willed, strong minded - and things generally roll off my back. In fact the song "You've got a friend" has always depressed me because I never found a person who the song fit.
I'm going through a hard time right now- and lately have been feeling pretty alone. There are so few people involved in it, but sides are being chosen - and my family (who is usually my support) somewhat divided. When I get off of the phone or get an email about this situation, I'm furious & hurt. DH is angry for me, hurt for me and has just been a great sense of support. It's really nice to have someone in my corner - and it's even better that it's him.
So here's the question. Who is in your corner? Who are the people you can count on?

I know that my family (Mom & Dad) is always behind me 100%...as well as my DH.

me, myself and I, number one. i always remind myself that i am responsible for myself in this world. but beyond that, my DH, my mom, dad, grandma and aunt.

DH and 2 of my 3 sisters are definitely in my corner. I know that no matter what, these 3 will always be there for me.

Sorry you're going through a rough time.
In the past I would say DH would have been my biggest supporter. Not lately though 
Defintely my parents, brothers, a few close girlfriends and my sister-in-law

First off
I'm sorry you have someone in your life causing you unnecessary grief right now. I hope it passes quickly.
In my corner... definitely DH, my Dad (although since the stroke he can' really do much for me but he is understanding) and all except one time my BF.
Of course I'd like more but unfortunately, most people won't or don't get your back 100% of the time w/o fail.

DH is always there for me, no matter what.
I am lucky to have 2 friends, who are the best combination of listening without judging, but will challenge me in a kind way to look at things from another perspective if they think I need that.
Sorry that you are having disagreements with the family. Those are always emotional

I think it really depends on the situation, but I'm lucky in that I have a really good support system - my DH, my parents and my brother would do anything for me, I have 2 really great friends that I can count on for anything, and I also have my grandmother, my aunt and my uncle.

without wavering, even when they know that I'm dead wrong-my mother, father, sister, my cousin, and my best friend. That's my support system...and they really are amazing...my boyfriend isn't quite on that list yet....hopefully one day he will be...
