Anyone have a DH who is not a "card" person?
DH really isn't a card person. He gets them for me at the special occassions because I hint that it's really important to me, but he would never do it on his own. I, on the other hand, love cards and getting them for him. He told me this year not to waste the money on cards because I could just tell him the sentiment. Some of the sweetest things he's ever "said" to me though have been written, by him, in cards!
I told him not to yell at me for being thoughtful just cause he wasn't!
Anyone else?

Mine isn't, but he tries b/c he knows I like them. He bought me a first mothers day card this year, but didn't get around to filling it out until almost Thanksgiving. 
I did get my birthday cards on the right day since I made such a stink about getting my mothers day card so late.

Yeah, that's JT for ya. I even go through the trouble of making them for him, and then they get tossed aside. Although, I did find a box that he saves them in. However, getting a card from him is like getting a card from someone I don't even know. It's completely impersonal.

I love cards Mike NEVER gets them. He just started getting them for me cause I make such a big deal out of it.

Me, I have a no card giver. I can say once or twice I was given one and FH has a way with words so, it meant a lot to read it. Me, I spill it all out in the cards.
It the kind of romantic thing to do, mushy stuff us girls love.
Yea, I wish FH did it more often.

My DH is so a card person but I'm not. He always gets me the mushy stuff that I don't care for and I always get him the funny stuff that makes no sense. I guess we compliment each other.

Mine isn't a card person. Actually asked me if I would mind if he threw it out after reading one. When we would go to weddings, he would pick out a card by it's size for his suit jacket.

my dh hates cards! I think I've gotten 1 card from him in the 6 years that I've known him! I am a big card person- and always write something nice and sentimental in EVERY card I write. It bugs me that I've only gotten 1 card from him. oh well.

I've got you guys beat!! I'm waiting for my ANNIVERSARY card still!!! AUgust 1st!!! First anniversary!!!
I've got him trained with birthdays and Vday now - I guess the anniversary cards need some butt whipping into shape.
