not dumb. It's like St. PAtty's Day but in Long Beach. There's a parade and all the bars will be jammed packed. It's always so much fun!

We brought all three of our dogs a few years ago ... it's really just a street festival and if it's crowded, it can be a bit much for the dogs. Mostly they wanted to stop at the food stands! Chat Icon

ETA: Some dog events coming up:

Saturday, 10/8
12th Annual Stroll to The Sea Dog Walk sponsored by ARF ... Mulford Farm, East Hampton (having trouble with their website ... www.arfhamptons.org)

Saturday, 10/15
Snoopy® DogFest
Walk-a-thon and Canine Education Fair
Saturday, October 15, 2005 from 11AM to 3PM
SUNY Farmingdale Campus
Melville Rd.
Farmingdale, NY
Snoopy® himself will host this fun-filled event for the entire family...even the dog! Have your photo taken with Snoopy. See canine related demonstrations and visit Lucy Lane for dog related vendor tables. Visit Woodstock's BBQ, Sally's Bake Sale, Marcy's Storytime tent and more. There will be trick-or-treating, a costume contest and parade, raffles, games and so much more. Help support Canine Companions for Independence at this 14th annual festival.
