Baby Talia is FINALLY here!
Hi Ladies!!! We're hooooooome!!!
First off I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your concern, love, caring, and support. You all helped me so much, and made me feel loved, and entertained me on the days where I thought I was going to crawl out of my skin.
Well - On tuesday night at 9:45 I literally was laying on the couch watching Tommy goes to college...I leaned over to pick up my laptop to log on - and boom - My water broke. I couldn't believe it. I thought I was having contractions a few hours before that but I wasn't 100% sure...so I called the dr. right away and she asked how far apart they were and I had to be honest and tell her I didn't know!! So she sent me to the hospital right away. It turned out they were 5 minutes apart already so they admitted me right away.
I'm not going to lie - labor was long and exhausting. I wasn't dialating properly. I lasted 8+ hours without any meds. I was hoping to wait until 3cm to get an epidural - but after the 8 hours I was still only 1cm dialated - so they gave me pitocin - and an epidural which was nice.
Then I dialated much quicker....BUT the epi kept wearing off....sooo from 8cm till birth I had NOTHING - no meds...I felt everything!!
In addition - I developed a 102 fever during delivery - so Talia and I were put on antibiotics and she had to go to the NICU which kind of sucked cause I couldn't have her in my room - but it was good to know she was ok.
When it was time to push - I swore I was so done and it was going to take less than an hour - so I pushed with ALL my might...and 45 min later on Wed. at 2:50 pm Talia Seporah came into this world!!
I only have one pic right now until my hubbie downloads the rest....I look TERRIBLE - (I know it should seem like I don't have to say that after 15 hours of labor and NO meds from 8cm on...BUT I have to say it anyway) BUT Talia looks sooo sweet...so I want to share it.
She is about 5 minutes old here.
She has a REDICULOUS amount of hair - Explains the terrible hearburn (old wives tail) I can't wait to share more pics - hopefully in the next day or two.
Thanks again Ladies!!!! You are all dear friends! I couldn't have made it through without you - and moms to be - DONT WORRY, yes, it hurts...but its the BEST THING EVER!!

I am so incredibly excited for you. She is so gorgeous. I love Talia's full head of hair. Def post some more pics when you can! Congratulations!!!!!!

This picture is sooo percious...I just cant get over the fact,,the way she is just looking at you aforing you...I love it!!!
It sounds like you were also a trooper..Im so glad your home, and cant wait to see more pics!!
