I got a few things last year at post Christmas sales for my "gift box". This is usually gifts for people at work, or things I see that I know a freind would like and I put it aside for the next year. I don't start the regular shopping until about October.

OF course!!
I shop for Christmas all year long actually. Makes it so much easier when the holidays roll around - I only have to pick up a thing or two, and it streches out the money I'm spending on gifts over 12 months.
I also wrote out most of my Christmas cards the other day when I was bored.....now all I have to do is stamp them and put them in the mailbox!
