On the island, where would you recommend going?
A friend told me about some place called Burt & Doyles?
Is that good?
Burt and Doyles is great. So is North Shore Steak House and Mortons. All three are near each other. They are in Great Neck on Northern Blvd.

They are owned by the same people as Blackstone....
TROthman's is awesome and their brunch is out of this world...

I totally agree that, Teller's has excellent ambiance, that was the first steakhouse I took DH to for his birthday when we moved out here.

If you go to Teller's, let them know it's a birthday celebration. They don't do anything like singing, but they will write Happy Birthday in Chocolate on your dessert plate. It's a really nice touch...
Oh and BTW...I'm jealous!!!!!!!!
