Best place to buy long lasting scented candles
seems like most of the candles i buy burn so fast and don't last very long. any recommendations for long lasting scented candles? don't want to spent too much as i plan to buy quite a few of them.

The best ones I ever used were Partylite. They are a little expensive - but I believe it is sooooooo worth it.

I love Partylight candles....they have the best scents. You have to buy them from someone that has a party. Im sure there is someone on here that knows someone that sells Partylight candles

My friend brought me back a box and they all smell delish and last a long time. The scents are similar to yankee candle, but not as expensive.
I've ordered from the website and have only had good experiences.

DH and I like those big thick candles that have 3 wicks. I find that best place to buy them is Walmart. They're only $5 (normally others stores range from $10-20 for them) and they tend to keep their scent for a while. Right now we have a hazelnut one- it's not too strong but keeps the house smelling juts a little bit sweet.

I love Yankee Candle too, but I only buy them if I have a coupon from them or BB&B, or if they are on clearance.
Someone told me to put the candle in the freezer an hour before lighting so the wax doesnt burn so quickly.

I absolutely looooove the candles from White Barn. They sell them at Bath and Body Works too. They're pricey but I buy them when they have sales. The scents are really potent. Sometimes they fragrance the room w/o even being lit and they last longer than the glades things I used to buy.

 really? I buy a few candles there in the Fall and they last me till the end of winter. and we burn them a lot.

White Barn fan over here too. My old office was across the street from RF. So at lunch oneday I went a bought a vanilla vodka candle, I left it on my desk, not even burning mind you, still in the bag adn people walking by commented on it and could smell. Still I have never burned it, no need.

a FRACTION of the price of Yankee Candles, smell yummy, and last long....

I also agree that Partylite has great candles. I have the # of a consultant if you need it -- actually 2 -- my old consoltant in suffolk and my new one in nassau so just FM me if you want them.
I also like the oval ones that you can buy in Linens N Things or Hallmark stores as well as Yankee Candles.
I am not so much of a fan of the white barn ones, I don't think they burn as well, and I'm not a fan of the Home Interior Party ones.
Also Pier 1 has some nice candles that aren't so expensive.
