I think something might be starting I've had consistent contrax since yestesrday and am VERYcrampy and its coming and going but is still bareable. my back hurts so much I can only get relief w/the heating pad. I just hope it progresses and doesn't fizzle out on me! I'm scheduled to be induced on Tues but the Dr. thought she'd see me before then.

bumping for updates


I'm going to the Drs at 11 today. I knew I would be back before Friday.

Again very crampy all night long, very uncomfortable and some blood tinge discharge.

This may be TMI but anyone having ALOT of discharge?? Like to the point of being uncomfortable all the time??

I am. It started last night. i already lost my plug last week so knew it wans't that - this is definitely show because it's bloody and mucuousy (my plug had no blood) and so far it hasn't stopped since last night. My cramps have increased but are still bearable. I am waiting til I can't talk through them to get excited after getting my hopes up so much these past few weeks. I think this is a good weekend to have a baby!!! :)

I'm still here too. These August babies are really hanging on. I too have had cramping and a lot of pressure but nothing to call the doc about. I'm getting induced Tuesday so I'm focusing on that and if she comes early that's great too. This weekend DH and I are going to go out to eat a lot, see a movie and just be together since this will be out last weekend alone for sure!!

I think we are going to spend some quality time together as well. My dr said if I don't have the baby this weekend on my own, then he will induce me on Monday.

It's kind of weird to think that, this is it. This weekend is going to fly by.

I'm so excited, but so nervous at the same time.

Hi guys. This morning when I went to the bathroom there was like brown gooey stuff. (Sorry if TMI.) This must be my mucous plug, right?? Hopefully it means I will go soon.

I think so!!! I hope that means you are going soon. I know I lost mine about 2 weeks ago and nothing, but everyone is different.

I did a post on the parenting board and most went within like 48 hours of losing it!!

My Friday Update:

So I just got back from my appt. I am having contractions here and there but nothing worth worrying or getting excited about.

As it stands, I am going in Monday at 12:30 for an internal to see where the baby's head is.

If she is low enough he wants to induce me. If her head is too high and he doesn't think inducing will help he wants to talk about having a C-section.

So we spoke about the pros and cons of going vaginally or a planned C-section.

I'm not sure which way I want to go. I have done a lot of research but am still scared of both ways!

Thanks! At this point I don't really see anything "starting" on its own.

My abdomen is very small which leads to why I am uncomfortable. She hasn't had room in there for about 3 weeks, which adds to all my pain. So he would rather not have me wait it out, since it could be another 2 weeks.
