Spotting...UPDATE

Okay girls, last night I had some blood when I wiped. It was bright red and just the tiniest little bit, but on several wipes. (TMI I know, sorry).

It completely freaked me out. I barely slept last night. This morning no blood, but I don't know what to do. I have an appointment tomorrow morning for b/w and u/s with my RE.

Should I just wait until then or should I call them today??? I mean, what can they do for me?

It's so upsetting. I stayed home from work today. Chat Icon

UPDATE:

Everything looked good on the ultrasound today. No more spotting since Sunday night.

We got to see the heartbeat and hear it for a second or two. Chat Icon

My bladder was full by the time we got in there, even though I had gone once.

The RE's office was a ZOO! 2 hours just to get in to see them.

So, I will make this my last "official" post on these boards. I will, of course, still be here to cheer you all on. But it's time for me to be a big girl now and move to the pregnancy board instead of being scared to be there!

Thank you all for everything!!!! Chat Icon

There are just no words to express how grateful I am. Chat Icon

Re: Spotting...

Call them right now!
Many women have spotting and go on to have completely normal pregnancies. But just in case, its worth a phone call- I don't know what they could do but maybe they could check your progesterone levels?

It's worth the phone call- you have come so far- most likely all is okay!

Re: Spotting...

Have you had pregesterone checked? I would call your Dr immediately and have them check your betas and pregesterone.

I'm on Progesterone shots. 1 cc a night.

At my last RE appointment, a week ago, all my levels were fine.

Re: Spotting...

Could it be implantation spotting?

When I had it, it was enough that I called DH to tell him to disregard the good news I told him. Then that night & the next day there was nothing. It's good no bleeding today.

Hang in there & hope your little one is burrowing his way into the lining...Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I think she is past the implantation stage... spotting is very common but best to speak with your Dr. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm already at 6 weeks, 3 days, so it's too late for implantation spotting, right?

Anyway, I called and left a message for my nurse so hopefully they will let me know what's happening.

Thanks everyone. Chat Icon

I don't know much about the shot-I have been on Crinone which is a gel with an applicator and does not show in blood tests. Does the shot? I assume it does. If your levels are good you are probably fine.MY RE told me that low progesterone can be a sign of m/c even before betas so that is reassuring. MANY people bleed throughout pregnancy and it can be normal. Did you see the HB again?

Re: Spotting...

I hope its nothing, have you seen your dr? Some women do spot in the beginning, some even get AF when PG. Try to relax and not worry but I'd try to see your dr ASAP for peace of mind.

Re: Spotting...

Worried about you....Did you talk to the DR?

I know NOTHING I say will calm you down, so I wont even try, but as others have said, spotting is sooooo normal and frequent...
