Anyone know whats going in commack?
In the old Toys R Us building? We drove past today & it looks like maybe a walmart or kmart....just my guess.

I heard that the old Toys R Us in Levittown is becoming Filene's Basement, maybe the one in Commack is as well?

It may be possible..I was thinking about it more. You think its possible, yet, another Super Stop and Shop?
Just the way I see them building..so wierd. The building was bought so fast too.
Sorry this thread kind of became a "Guessing Game".

Iwas in TRU the day it was closing and was told it was going to be a pet store... no offense pet owners but PEtco is right across the way, we dont need another pet store

if you are hearing it was going to be a pet store or hotel, and there is already a petco nearby, its probably going to be a Petsmart. they have a pet hotel and vet services in them.

Actually the Barnes and Noble by Huntington Square Mall closed, maybe that's what the OP was referring to.
