Hello. I guess its my turn, sorry I am late but I was waiting for time to write all this. Also I am a little weirded out about someone I know reading this, but I dont know why since EVERYONE knows my story anyway.


My name is Pauline (29) DH is Geroge (30). I am a Social Worker in a Psychiatric ER and DH works in shipping. We live in Queens. We have known each other since we were 10 and have been best friends since. We started dating in 1995 and we were married in 1/98. We were pretty young then so we waited a couple years to TTC. When we started trying it just wasnt happening. I joined WW and lost about 50 pounds, but still nothing. After one year I went to RSONY and had a consult with Dr. Stelling 5 days later I learned I was pregnant. I LOVED being pregnant and my labor and deliver went smoothly. I left work at 2:15PM and our son Ryan was born at 3:11PM with a stop to the OB office in between (9cm-Get to the hospital FAST!!!).

My son Ryan is now 2 1/2 and I again find myself with the same problem. Now they call it "secondary infertility". We have been TTC for a year. I have gone back to RSONY and had my first IUI this month and now I am suffering through the 2WW (5 days left).

Being a Mom is the best experience in the world and I cant wait till you all can share it with me (over and over again).

Since pregnancy and motherhood have been so easy for me, I feel like I was meant to be a Mom- so this is driving me CRAZY. I know it may sound silly to those of you that are still waiting for your first.

Thank God for my DH. I think the years we had in the beginning not TTC really strengthened us fro this journey, because in simple words THIS S*CKS!!.

I am so glad that I found this forum. Its so nice to have a place where people actually want to here and care about what you are going through.

So I hope that you all will join me soon in Motherhood and that I will join you all soon in pregnancy!!!

Hi, I'm Alexa. I've been a little shy in posting personal information because people at work talk about the site and I really don't want them to know anything about my personal life, especially that we are TTC. It's the kind of office where gossip travels!

I am 33 and my DH is 32. We got married a little over a year ago. The day of our wedding I went off the pill and we have been "unofficially" TTC ever since (i.e. - not charting or using OPKs). We both want kids as soon as possible and I have always been concerned about staring the TTC process before 35 (even though I know plenty of women in their late 30's and early 40's who got pregnant naturally).

Since nothing was happening, in May I had a blood test to make sure I was ovulating, which I was. So this month we used an OPK for the first time. AF is currently 3 days late, and I have a consistent 28 day cycle, so I was excited. However, after two BFN's on the clear blue digital ept, I am just waiting for AF and wondering why I'm late for the first time in a year!

I do read this board regularly but don't like to post too much because I feel like the more I focus on my not being pregnant, the longer it will take to get pregnant. But every night when I sign on I hope to see that one of you is PG. You all sound like wonderful women who deserve nothing more than beautiful babies!

I've been on here and LIW for years, just don't have as much time to post anymore.

I'm Michelle (35) and my DH is Vincent aka Vinny (31) yup- younger man!!!!!! He thinks it would've been so cool if we hooked up while he was a freshman in High School and I was a Freshman in College- Like that was going to happen.

I was working for an Ad Agency and on the weekends at a TV Network.. I just recently started my own business- not realted to either of those fields. (Hence why I don't have a lot of time to myself these days).

I so badly want to TTC, but DH is a frady cat and wants to wait until we win LOTTO!!! Which, as you all know, is never going to happen. He especially wants to wait since I've just started this business, but my "clock" is telling me there's no time like the present! We're both only children, and I would hate to have an only child, I want at least 2. (I'll take one healthy baby though- of course) I've contemplated the "oops, honey I'm pregnant!" but, didn't work and he's on to me- LOL...

I wish us all the baby dust we need and hope that God delivers bundles of joy for all of us when we're suppose to

I'm Colleen and Dh is Rob. I'm 25 and he is 29. We started dating Feb. 2001, got engaged June 2003, and were married Oct. 2004. I am a medical biller and Dh is a secret service agent. We have a house in Levittown and have been TTC for 4 months now.

I also thought that I had done this already. I'm Andrea(36), he's Steven(39). Met oct. 2000 went out a couple of times, then started dating again in Aug. 2001. We were married March 2004. Started officially TTC Oct-Nov 2004. Became pg in Jan., 2005. Had a MC in Feb and a Dand C on Feb., 21. Was told to wait at least two months. By the time both AF's showed up and I was able to get myself back on schedule we have really been trying again since June. Best of luck to all of us fabulous ladies!!!

My name is Stephanie (31), DH is Brandon (33) we met through a friend at work in May 2000, started dating october 2000, got engaged March 2002, married May 2003. we have been TTC since the wedding with no luck. have been going to an RE since December 2004. Today was my 3 IUI, i will be back tomorrow for a 4th. (Dr wanted to try a double this cycle).

we have one "child" a 3 year old Bassett Hound, and hoping to give him a playmate soon.

Hi I'm Kate (27) and DH is Adam (26). Our first anniversary is next week, and this is our first month trying. If we are not successful, next month I think I will try an OPK.

My name is Caterina and DH is Alex. I have been married over a year (July) and have been TTC since Jan. when I came off the pill after 9 years.

We live in Brooklyn. I am an Operations Manager and work in NYC, DH is housewife (he was laid off after 16 years).
No pets, no babies...but BIG dreams!!

Hi Ladies, my name is Dawn and I am now living in East Northport, NY
DH and I have been TTC for about 2 months now.
I am 30 and he is 32.
I am an associate teacher for an early childhood center and dh is an accountant.
Just want to wish everyone baby dust and welcome aboard all the new people!

Hi- My name is Christine and my husband's name is Graham(G-man as we all call him). We got married in July of this year and have been together for two years this week. We are older- 35 and 37 so we have been TTCing since before the wedding. We are both from the East Coast orginally- me, Queens, NY and him, New Jesery and met on Match.com here in LA, Sept. 21, 2003 was our first date- we were engaged in Feb. 13, 2004 so we were fast movers as well.

I work as a Dean of a High School in Torrance, CA and Graham is a marketing/sales director for a multinational firm that designs stuff I don't understand.
We have no pets but are hoping to get a cat or dog once we move from our small condo into a house.

My name is Erica and my dh's name is Gus. I am 34 & he is 36. We have been ttc for 3 months so Spetember will be month 4.
We live in Queens and have a bunny named Lucy.
We met in August of 1995 in Cancun Mexico @ Dadyos.
Dh works in the city as an attorney and I work for an airline as a flight attendant.
WE got married last year by dh's friend who is a Judge in Feb. ( for insurance reasons) and then had our big church wedding in November - that is the anniversary date we will keep.
I am glad we did that because we were married in the Greek Orthodox church so the priest does all od your wedding vows for you where with the JOP we did the " I do's".
I have my plain wedding band that I wore after the JOP wedding and my blingy one for the church wedding.

For fun we usually go out with friends for dinner, bbq - nothing too exciting.

We love to travel and if we are not doing that hanging out @ home is pretty cool too!


I hope that all of us will be graduating from this board soon!!!!!!!

I'm Amy (33, 34 in December) and DH is Tim (32). We also met on Match.com -- in October 2001. Our first date was November 6th, 2001. He moved in June 2002, we got engaged March 17th, 2003, and got married November 6th, 2004. We also bought our house in Lindenhurst Septmber 2003.

I'm an account executive at a public relations firm in Mineola, DH is Sales Supervisor for Time Warner Cable in Queens.

We have 5 birds total...2 cockatiels named Punk and Scuzi, and 3 parakeets named Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic (because of their coloring).

We were going to officially start TTC this November and haven't told anyone that we are starting early, but we started this month (September). (Cat might be out of the bag since some people who know me do come on this site -- hopefully they'll keep it to themselves and not gossip.) I started temping and charting, but haven't OPKed yet. Will probably try that next month. We're going to the Bahamas for our anniversary, so we'll be TTCing full force then.

You guys have been so helpful so far and its nice to have each other to share experiences and advice with. Baby Dust to ALL!

My name is Amanda and my dh's name is Peter. I am 22 and he is 25. We have been ttc for a few weeks we already have an 18 month old son robert who is the best thing in my life so I want another lol.
We just bought a house in shirley in august so getting used the neighborhood.
We met at work my hubby was my manager and eventually we started dating about 5 months later we were engaged 5 months after that we were married and and 5 months after that we had our son lol. now it will be 2 yrs that we have been married. we got married in town hall so for our 10 anniversary we are having the whole church thing. where my son can bepart of it and hopefully my daughter if i have a daughter lol. I wish everyone the best of luck in there quest to concieve.

My name is Dina and my DH's name in John- we've 30 and 34 and have been trying since May of this year.

We met via an internet dating site in October- and our first date was in January 2001. We got engaged 7/4/02 in my apartment after I cooked him french toast (LOL) and we married 1/31/03 at the Carlyle.

Things have been busy for us- lots of job crazyness and I am going to school pursuing my MBA in Enterpreneurship. I graduate the end of this year - Dec 2005- so TTC seemed like a good time.

I am trying to become a small business/entrepreneurship consultant- helping people/small companies put together business plans and strategies for their small businesses...

Right now I work for a promotional products distributor (we make anything with a logo on it).

Hello. My name is Kris and my DH is Matthew. We have been married for 2 yrs and have known each other since I was 14. I'm 27 and he is 29. This is our 1st month TTC and I'm really excited and nervuos. We have been living in our house in Smithtown for just about a year. We both commute into NYC.

My name is Sue. I am 34 years old. My DH is named Alex, he is 35 years old. I am an office manager for a doctor . My Dh is a special Ed teacher in NYC.
We live in Bellmore and own a home.
We have been TTC sort of since last year, but stupid me... did not relize my O day was off until last month.

I just saw this thread today, so I thought I would introduce myself since I have been posting here for a few months now.

My name is Jaimie and my dh Matt and we met July of 01, got engaged July of 03 and married Oct of 04. Im going to be 40 in January and he just turned 39 in Sept. He has an 11 1/2 yo daughter from a prev marriage and I dont have any children or have I ever been pregnant. We bought a house in Selden in Sep of 04 which we are currently re-doing (Ughhh). We have been TTC'ing since June and now I am waiting for AF to visit so I can go for all my blood work to see if there are any problems.

I am a secretary in the court system and a real estate agent and my husband works in the city in heating. We have three little furry babies, one was his before me a wonderful 12yo akita/chow mix (Tasha), one was mine before we got married a 7yo Lhasa Apso (Jingles) with attitude, and then we adopted one in Feb (now 1 1/2yo) labradoodle name Shadow.

I really enjoy sharing info with you and really appreciate all the help everyone has given me with everything so far.

P.S. No one else knows we are TTC'ing except for all of you.

Hi! I'm Jeannie, I'm 30 and DH is Chris, 34. We met through a personal ad on Love@AOL in October of 2001 and will be married one year on 10/31. I'm a Fundraiser for a non-profit and DH is a Police Officer in Nassau. We are both very ready for children but we had to wait until after I had a surgery (long story) in August. Now that I'm all healed we're in our first month of TTC. Technically I'm in the 2WW so we'll see what happens.

Like LIPrincess no one knows we're TTC although I'm sure they suspect it. I'm already thinking of creative ways to share the news with our families when it happens.
