UPDATED 5/26/06 So I didn't... see bottom of first post

I didn't post when the last one failed. Long story short we think I had implantation/sticky issues. I was having a lot of symptoms and my chart looked good for a while. We think the problem was I did not ovulate until CD27 and by then the egg is a bit "old and stale" and often they will not stick.

Dr. Rosenfeld changed my meds a bit. I continued on Metformin (1500mg) a day at bedtime and added Femara on CD 5-9 (two pills a day, one in morning and one at night) and well, I have a big follie! Chat Icon today on CD15 I feel so normal... it's not taking me two-months to go through a cycle!!! I've NEVER ovulated that early when on Clomid... goes to show it doesn't help a woman like me with PCOS.

I tested this afternoon and the OPK is lighter than the day before but the day before did not look dark enough to be a surge. I've had some twinges on the side of the ovary so I don't want to risk missing it... maybe the yesterday was my surge???He wanted to see me on Friday regardless so I decided to go in tomorrow anyway for IUI #1 and IUI#2 will be on Friday. UPDATE 5/25: I'm back! Good count even though we BD last night. My appt. was for 1 pm and Dr. Rosenfeld was in the room at 12:59... only the second doctor (in any specialty) I've ever know to consistently be on time. He started telling me how much he loves history and about one of his old history teachers. The egg looked good and shrunk a bit from yesterday to today. He said it looked like it "flattened out" or shrunk which is what happens right before it is released.

So I do it all again tomorrow just to be 100% sure. This time I'll just do the drop off for DH and my IUI is at 9:45. I'll be back just in time for my shower doors in the master bath to come. Thankfully, FIL is handling it for me.

UPDATE 5/26/06- Went back in again this morning at 7am for the drop off, out to breakfast and then 9:45 insemination. Guess what??? I STILL HAVEN'T OVULATED Chat Icon Dr. Rosenfeld could see the egg plain as day on the ultrasound. So they gave me the trigger shot and I'll be back again on Sunday for another IUI with Dr. Chu.

I am WIPED OUT Not sure if it's all of the driving (over 300 miles in 4 days) or just hormones or what. I had to run a couple or errands after the insemination and I got home at noon to find the glass shower STILL being installed. My FIL was here, thank God. I was so moody and tired I really didn't want to deal with anyone in my house, running up and down the stairs, in and out Chat Icon but FIL had to leave at 1 pm... he never thought this would take this long. I snoozed for about an hour but still haven't slept because THEY ARE STILL HERE... 7 HOURS LATER I asked DH to come home and would you believe his boss still has him at work at
