Yes, because I work in a small school, and we have it at our headmaster's house right after the winter concert. I run the winter concert, so I always feel like the party is in honor of me Can we say self-centered?! It's always the best party we have all year!

Yeah, it's usually a good idea to go when you are new. We always talk about the new people if they don't come.

If I was staying here at my current job, yes I would have to since I am in HR. But I always HATED going....too much drama and always takes me hours to get home. I work in advertising so it was all about how you look and who you hook up with / hang out with...
Now, I am starting a new job on Monday and I am not sure what they'll be doing since they are a non-profit. Hopefully something low key.

yes... but i think mine is in the conference room During the work day (no alcohol, but free food and Down time- guess its better than nothing  )

first office holiday party im ever going to-
my other jobs i hated the ppl i worked w/ so i couldnt fake smile for another 4 hours lol
mine is THIS sat (very early) nite at some hall in the city..
SO's are invited..i cant wait to see how this turns out

yes - its free and its really nice,. its held at the crest hollow cc, but on a tues night from 6:30 to 9:30, and you get fired if you call in sick the next day

my company decided they were going to host one this year so we organized our own we didnt think we would get a response because its 50.00pp but its includes open bar for 4 hours and a buffet and as it turns out we are having more people this year that we have to pay our own way then previous years when the company was footing the bill
