The Bra Revolution: UPDATED
After seeing Oprah, I think I will get fitted today to see if i'm wearing the correct size. (I tivo'ed it, and am watching it right now.)
Who else is going to get sized?
I'm currently a 34B and hoping they tell me i'm a 32C.
If you already have gotten sized, were you wearing the right size all along?
UPDATE: I'm in shock!!
I just got back from Nordstrom's and i'm a 32D 
I've been wearing a 34B forever...but the 32 D actually felt much better. The C felt good too, so I think it's time to go bra shopping!

I got a special bra for my wedding dress and they told me my size was way off. I was wearing a 36C and they said I should be wearing a 38D.

I got measured for my wedding. I was off also! I was wearing a 36C when I should have been wearing a 34D!
I feel much better in my new bra's!!!

I saw that Oprah and I think I am wearing the wrong size. I got measured in the Platex store in Riverhead outlets, but I don't think they knew what they were talking about, so I would like to go somewhere else.
They also measured my mom who is so petite on top and told her she needed a 38! (She wears a small) so I don't believe them

Thats exactly what happened to me..... All in my favor of course........I was shocked. I'm like 32C? Are you sure??? LOL

Gorgette's is on S. Broadway in Hicksville (Across from where Northrop Grumman is)..North of Hempstead Turnpike

I had the same exact thing happen to me. I was wearing a 36C and they told me I am a 32 or a 34D.

i got fitted after my breast reduction, then again 1 year later when they "settled". I'm just happy that I can purchase bras off the rack now!

wow - that is a huge diff!!!!! I think most women think they are smaller than they really are... welcome to the "D's"

these women do this all day long. it's just another pair of boobs to them. often they can just do it over your shirt though...

No. I was a little worried about that too.
The lady brings you into a dressing room and you take your shirt off (bra still on). She then measures right underneath your boobs, which is the smallest part of your upper body.
Then she kinda just looked at my chest and said that she'll bring my a 32C & D to try on.
She left the room for me to try it on, and came back to see how it fit. When she came back in the room, she made some adjustments to the straps, and decided which was the best fit.
I get embarrassed very easily, and felt very comfortable with her.
