My mom's car was stolen earlier this morning UDPATE: WE FOUND IT!!
My mom's car was stolen right out of her driveway early this morning. I am just wondering if anyone in eastern suffolk (she lives in Manorville) sees it please FM me.
It is a 2002 white Subaru Forrester- it has a faded white, oval sticker on the back window. It has tinted windows.
I know the chances are slim, it's just that she is very upset and I just thought it couldn't hurt to spread the word.

Update: We found the car parked behind a Handy Pantry- my mom just got the car back from having work done on it and forgot that her extra key was in the console . We also found someone's stolen wallet on the front seat. We are greatful to have found it and everything is fine- just have to get the lock's changed!

thats terrible!!!!!!!!! god people have some balls to steal a car out of a driveway! so messed up!!!!!!!!!!!

that blows I know so many people that have had their cars stolen out of their driveway.
One was a mustang that was pushed out of the driveway CHRISTMAS MORNING WHILE THEY WERE OPENING GIFTS. Car was there when they went to get coffee gone when they went (after presents) to eat breakfast.
Another was also a mustang but one that was used for racing. it had hood locks that they got off and left laying on the ground he had racing seats blah blah blah...they found that car in east brooklyn with nothing.
My other friend had a new monte carlo it was stolen from dunkin donuts parking lot. He got it back and didn't even want it anymore.
Not to be a downer but it might be better if she never sees it again  She might not want it after someone stole it and drove it.
Just think now she can get a new shiny car!

OMG!! Im so sorry!!
When i was in HS my mom's car was stolen out of our driveway in Setauket!! I went to leave for school in the morning, and the car was just gone! Funny thing is, i heard it being started, but i thought it was just the neighbor...She wasnt the best at paying bills and thought the car was repossed, so she didnt call the cops until after 9 when the car company opened and she learned they didnt came take the car!

you have fm , my mom lives in manorville and i am in shirley. what part of manorvill is she? my mom is by the 7 11 and animal farm off of 111. i will tell her to keep her eyes open

 i live so close to that it's scary. and i tend to be careless with my keys(leave them in the door of the house) i will now make sure i am a little more aware. and what comes to mind are those dare pains in the butts 2 houses down. i am more leary to leave my house to go anywhere becasue they have tried to damage my neighbor ,that is in the middle of there house and mine.

Janet, that stinks about your neighbors. People really have guts these days. I remember being able to leave our house doors open all day and not being worried about it. I guess times have changed!

Great news! My uncle's car was also stolen from his drive way. Some kids took it for a ride and then left it a few blocks away. I know it is a huge relief to get it back.

that is why i hate living out here. i loved it in coram , in my old neighborhood. we knew everyone and vice versa, so when anything out of the norm we would actually have a phone chain. we always left our doors open and windows. and now being on my own again, i wish i was back "home" in coram. i am glad your mom's car was not damaged.

We just went driving around looking for it- it was just dumb luck we drove past the back of the parking lot and there it was!
