 Yes, my name was "CHAMP" on the show and I was a regular. Rob Bob, Jimmy Jam, Oceana and the rest of the gang. It was a great show. A lot of bonding between the various races.
It was a beautiful thing. They had some old episodes on Youtube (actually me in a couple of them), but they had to be taken down due to copyright infringement. But Michael Nise the producer of the show is on Facebook. Check him out.
We had a lot of fun down at the Philly 57 Studios. It gave us a place to go everyday Saturday morning. It kept us out of trouble..

I also was a regular. For the person who's looking for old tapes...Michael Nise the old producer of the show is on Facebook. So, he will definitely have them. I was apart of the show when it was filmed off of 21st and Callowhill at the old Philly 57 Studios.
The little guy was Jimmy Jam. He was a teenager. He just looked real young. Well, this is "Abdul CHAMP Chestnut (regular/DPUSA) alumni. I would love to have a reunion. God bless you all and it's nice that you all still think about the show. It definitely had a profound impact on my life. It exposed me to life outside of the neighborhood...

No but I use to watch American Bandstand, especially in the summer, when they did their show by the beach, I think in Atlantic City!!!! Mary
