I am overweight but still wear a two-piece -- just a very modest tankini. The top goes down well over the bottom so there is good coverage. One pieces are such a PITA to get on and off when you are wet. Peeing is a big PITA! with one pieces IME!
I also bought a removable brown skirt that matches it perfectly so that if I'm swimming in someone's house I can wear it if I'm feeling self-concious, but the top actually covers my belly-area which is what I'm most self concious about so I usually go without it.

I wear a 2 piece. I worked hard to lose the weight I wanted to lose and I'm really happy to be able to wear a 2 piece!

One piece or 2 piece tankini with skirts. no more bikini days for me....between my veins, stretch marks, and cellulite, forget it !!! I'm not overweight (maybe a little chubby in the belly area), just unfortunate. I got my stretch marks when was I was 17 then the veins followed...it $ucks..thanks to genetics  I'm dreading what my legs will look like after I have children.
