I wanted to share this with you. My children and I were witnesses to this terrible tragedy that happened in Shirley. We were visiting friends and while going to dinner my children and I witness this.
Please, please pray for the baby, his family and also the driver of the SUV and his family. Both familes have been shattered by this tragedy.
i too saw this! i could not believe it happen! when i saw this i froze and was in shock but it all, but have not heard any updates on the baby have you? i feel terrible for that mom right now and that driver will never be the same
eta: i live 2 mintues up the road and will never be able to look at that conner the same!
between 4 and 7 i try my hardest to not go out unless i really have too. it is horrible all the traffic, and when there is an accident at sunrise service road and william floyd they devert up my block and it scares the day lights out of me because people fly up my block!
That is AWFUL!!! that poor baby. Was the mother in the road with the baby or was she in the median. was it just a case of the driver not seeing the stroller or did the mother just not see the car coming and started to push the baby across the street? I saw that she was crossing William Floyd Pkwy, thats a crazy busy road.
the medien where she was standing is very narrow and it was a little of both.. the car driver did not see the stroller and the truck came from behind the mother and cut to close and hit the stoller. the mother was not hit. i hope to find out a update soon
The update on the baby is that he's in serious but critical condition with a skull fracture.
However, babies are like playdo and with our prayers I know that he'll be okay. I tried calling the hospital, but because I am not family they would not give me an update on the baby.
thanks for that update! today when i passed by where it happen it had a single candle there and i got a tear in my eye. I pray for that little guy and his family!
