u alwayse see that in movies on wedding nites..so i was wondering how many couples actually did that

Not on our wedding night but he did on our honeymoon. Better late then never.

He did... just over the threshold.... about two feet
I'm no waif at 148 lbs plus the dress, etc
I didn't ask him to he just thought of it all on his own.

We went to a hotel that night I think he did, we had a little too much fun at the hotel bar after the wedding was over...

How horrible is this - I don't remember. I thought he did but don't recall it at all!
He said he was pretty sure he did on our wedding night, but not when we went back to our apartment.

Yep, he carried me over the hotel room threshold for our wedding night and then over our apartment threshold when we got back from our honeymoon.

DH had planned to...but we got all flustered when our limo pulled up to our house and we could see people moving inside....we thought someone was burglarizing our house...so we rushed inside...thats when we found my MIL and SIL decorated the place with Rose petals and candles.

Yes, he did. We stayed at the same hotel as our OOT guests and he glantly carried me into our room after being in the hotel bar after the wedding

Yup, and I had completely forgot about that tradition, but he remembered.  We had our apartment already (bedroom furnished) and slept in it for the 1st time that night.

that is so sweet Boobobunny! we had that too when dh and I came home from our honeymoon our apartment was all decorated I found out all of my friends and my mom decorated the apartment we had rose pedals on the bed there was a welcome home sign with everyone's name on it!a bottle of cider I am so grateful for the people who did that! i cant remember the other stuff was there but the thought was there.

My husband didn't do it on our wedding night or on the honeymoon, so I made him carry me over the threshold of our house the day we closed.
