Mine was diamonds around the edges and Carlton & Barbara on the leaves with the date 8-5-85 & "I Love You" on the back
I have it thrown in a jewelry box somewhere. That's going to be an interesting conversation when my kids get older "Who is Carl?"

I had one. But it was later. It was a name plate that said Michael HEART (with two hearts not the words) Kristin and the date hung from the hearts. I also had a Ring that said Michael (HEART) Kristin and the date  I actually loved it. I lost my name plate that had just my name on it

I had a double diamond nameplate also with Jimmy & Felicia and the date ... what can I say, it was the 80s, big gold and diamonds was "in" and that Jimmy was a big spender
I have all this stuff somewhere too and I can only imagine what the kids will think someday when they say "but Daddy's name isn't Jimmy??"

i was just thinking about this..what is is with older women especially and thick, craggly eyeliner under the eyes, it's the only thing that makes them look gross, no matter how nice their other makeup or clothes are...WHY?

hate to tell you, one of my bestfriends is a fashion editor for Elle and diamond nameplates ARE in (but not the HUGE ones, just ask Carrie Bradshaw) and yes tapered jeans are back in too!! Sorry , I am a very fashion focused person so I read and watch constantly, plus I work with 21-27 year old girls and this is what I see. Not personally for me, but it is indeed the trend
