OMG! I just got a card with a $25 Strabucks GC from the brand new (a month) saleswoman!
I work for a SVP, a VP, and 4 salespeople and the new one gave it to me. I am shocked at the sweetness!!!!

we get an extra vacation day, a luncheon and something else. Last year we got movies passes for 2 with popcorn and sodas!

It's often the 'newer' people or the people you least expect that are so thoughtful and generous.. and the 'big bosses' who can give a crap!!

My firm gives us a gift and a breakfast. One of the associates I work for gave me flowers and the legal assistant I work for gave me a mirror & a gc from sephora. The partner I work for (which I have been with for 7 years) always gives me nothing.

awwww, I am so sorry to hear that.
I hope you don't do anything for them on bosses day.
Like I said before I received a GC & card from a salesperson I work for - nothing from the bosses which I am happy about. Eliminates me having to buy something for them on bosses day!

Ok, I'm a really bad boss & didn't realize it was today until I got in. It would be too obvious for me to go get her flowers now. If I let her leave at 3pm, what do you think???
The truth is I don't want to take her to lunch bc I really think she's a bs artist & it would be hard to sit through for an hour.
