When did YOU announce your pregnancy?
When did you freely start talking and announcing your pregnancy (I mean to other peple besides your closest family and best friends).

I started after the 12th week to everyone else who I felt needed to know. Since there is no mistaking it now, my residents are just starting to notice my pg.

When I told at work, about 15 weeks. It was too hard to try to remember who knew, who didn't, so it was easier to just know that I could talk about it freely at home, and no where else.

Good to know. I finish my 12th week next Monday...but we have this event for my department at the end of this week, and I really wanted to announce then, but I was stuck thinking I was too early.
On Friday I will be 11 weeks 4 day.

I was too excited to keep it to ourselves for very long; at 7 weeks everyone knew. We were also married for 6 years and the pressure from family was ON! So, if we did not tell right away we might have been disowned by our family.  Once the grandparents knew, the whole world did. We knew they would not keep it quiet, so we knew as soon as we told them everyone would know. The way we looked at it was that the more people praying for the health of the baby the better. Plus, if anything God forbid went wrong, the people who loved us would be there supporting us. It's a very personal thing, do what you and DH feel is best.

most people knew within a few weeks of us finding out. There were a few that I held out on, until after the first trimester.

I told people right away, everyone knew I havre having trouble getting PG and going through a lot of things to get PG. When I found out that I was finally PG I was too excited to keep it to myself!

We told family and close friends very early.
I was not planning on telling work until 12 weeks, but I guess I got fat and people started talking! So I had to tell.

I told most people rather quickly. Thankfully I told my boss at 6-7 weeks because at 10 weeks I was working from home ONLY. I always figured that if something did happen it would not be my fault and I would want my family and friend's suport anyway.

Only my job knew right away because I work in a doctors office and they are also my PCP so when i went through 2 chemical pregnancies and got no help from my Gyn I saw one of the doctors I work for. I then started seeing a specialist and was leaving work early alot. As far as our family we just told them on Sunday and I am 9 weeks.

ditto for us...although there are very few people at work that know. Basically our family and friends knew right away.
