I am a nutjob as well. As anyone from the last GTG. I was going to tables telling 15 year olds who were pretending to be "out on the town", that I worked for newsday, and was doing a story on "What teens did on Friday nights" They were posing for pictures and everything.

Mostly it has, there are a couple of people who sort of surprised me with their real life personalities after seeing their posts. I think that most people who post regularly do have their personality shine through...how could you not after a while.

i have met a bunch of people now and i have to say i have seen the mix
i have seen the shy people on here be actually quite talkative (cough cough Jaxs)
I have seen the loud gals who are loud and fun in person
I have seen the shy girls here who are shy in person
BUT IN THE END...NOBODY is exactly the same...
some are crazier, louder, more quiet or reserved...what have you....but not the same
And in all honestly...i think that is a good thing...
i really don't think someone is EXACLY AS THEY TYPE...to me that is just absurd

I have met several people from online. A few I am really good friends with. (Obviously their personalities matched, one of them is Sweettooth) Then there are others. Sorry but not everyone is who they "appear" to be online. But then again, it's the internet. You have to take everything at face value.

it was my second ....and i think you are right...
i think that one i was more nervous, just like the first GTG
although walkingup to the wrong table and introducing myself to a group of people what weren't the LIWers i was to meet wasn't the greatest start to a first GTG
