im going to be a mommy tomorrow morning!!!!
i cant believe it but its finally here! I am having a c-section tomorrow morning at 9am!!!! do you have any last minute advice for me???? i feel so unprepared all of a sudden!    TIA

Good luck, and defintitely try and rest. Although I did not have a C-section, do not hesitate to ask for help from the nurses!

i second sleep at the hospital and take the pain killers they offer you also. and i recommend a night gown, its comfortable, wont hurt your incision, and is easy access for the many times the doctors and nurses will be checking you. other then that, enjoy it, it goes by so fast. best of luck to you. and congrats.

Don't worry during the actual procedure, it's really not so bad! Also, painkillers, painkillers, painkillers! Walk as much as you can when they let you get up. It will really help!

Good luck!! The first time they get you out of bed, go slowly. Don't rush. I almost fainted because I got up too fast.

Good luck! I had a c-section also so my best advice is to get up and try to walk around as much as possible. My daughter was in the NICU so I had to walk down there to see her every time I wanted to see her --- and I really think it helped my recovery.
Also don't be afraid to ask for help or even to ask to just be alone if you need it. So many people come to visit in the hospital and there was one day (the first day after) where I just wanted them to go away and sit in the nursery with my daughter.

Make sure you take a belly pic, right before you go in.. That was one thing I got with baby #2 that I didn't with the first! Good Luck!

Take the pain meds
After the surgery~walk..walk..walk...the more you walk...the better you will feel.
Oh yeah...and make sure you tell them when you passed gas...then you can eat real food!!!

Good luck, try and rest as much as possible. Walk as soon as you can, the more you do it, the faster your recovery.
