Just to make you feel not weepy about my son - he's also spending his recess in the principal's office. It's the 3rd week of school & it is his second time on the detention bench.

Aw!! Im tearing up here, that is so sweet and touching...and so innocent. **HUGS** to your DH, I feel for him. You reminded me, my son last night said to my DH "Can you ask your Mom?" (I dont even remember why he said it...it wasnt to ask her anything in particular) but my MIL passed away last Nov and my son definitely didnt know her. We were waiting for something really eerie to come out of his mouth next after DH asked him what he should ask her. He was passed the subject by then but I saw DH's face looked so sad afterward.

Maybe in his quest to be principal he wants to spend as much time as possible with the principal

Barb, I got a call from the school the 3rd day. My ever so sweet Ella went over to some berry bushes at recess and squished them- it was all over her clothes and they didn't know if she put any in her mouth.
