For SOME of those I have met, it definately does.
For example, me, Redhead, and E-Rod have very similar personalities, likes, and dislikes. They are a bit more "Tame" on the boards, but they get me.

I have met several people from online. A few I am really good friends with. (Obviously their personalities matched, one of them is Sweettooth) Then there are others. Sorry but not everyone is who they "appear" to be online. But then again, it's the internet. You have to take everything at face value.

Ok...it wasn't you either Becca!! You were actually a lot sweeter and quieter than I expected.
Some were a lot more shy in person...a lot quieter...a lot more reserved. I guess I wasn't expecting that. It's easy to be "open" on a chat board, but I guess harder in public. I'm always just chatty.

For a bride on LIW I met, yes she was the same but a little quieter than I expected.
For someone from an unrelated board, they were completey annoying, selfish, and gross in person. I never caught on to that while conversing on a message board. We stopped speaking afterwards!
