I'm on a bit of a Nicholas Sparks kick. I just finished reading The Notebook yesterday, and started The Guardian today.
Were they very sad books? I saw The Notbook movie, and cried. Don't know if I feel like being sad. 
The Notebook was sad, but I didn't cry as much as I thought I would. I cried more while reading Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas.
I don't think I've gotten far enough into The Guardian to cry yet.

I'm about half way through "The Mermaid Chair" which is written by Sue Monk Kidd- Secret Life of Bees.
So far it's pretty good, don't know if it will be the Secret Life of Bees good or not.

NExt is Mary Higgins Clark...Newest one..havent read her stuff in forever.

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
It's about a daughter's journey to finish her father's research for the search of Vlad the Impaler aka Dracula. Very good mystery/thriller, but it's 642 pages!!!
I've put it aside for now and started Janet Evanovich's Eleven On Top. It'll be a fast read, then I can go back to the other one.

Reading a book called "Your Mouth is Lovely"
It's a historical novel (fictional) that takes place in Russia in the late 1800's/early 1900's about the Jewish village population and the different revolutions.
Not my typical book, but it's the exact time period my great-grandmother grew up in the same area so I find it interesting.

I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha and loved it - so interesting!
Now I'm reading Angels & Demons. I was in Italy and went to the Vatican on Monday and my DH had just finished it on the plane over there and said I had to read it. Its interesting since we were just there!

Rich Dad Poor Dad- what the rich teach their children that the poor and middle class don't.
i bought it at the same time as the Shopoholic books, so those are next (though the combination seems somewhat Counter-productive  )

Very good book! and I try to read a few pages in the bible everyday but I have been slacking lately :(
