Like when someone posts something and someone else is like, "that should be on this board" or "someone already posted about that, do a search". Why do they feel the need to say that?? Why not just leave it alone?? That is what I meant by "if you don't like it, don't read it".

well i have no problem saying that it DOES annoy me
ESPECIALLY the celeb crap...
I for one was soooooo happy to FINALLY not see a gazillion threads on Nick and Jessica, Jenn & Brad and what nots
and why we are all upset and angry at them for breaking up
It really does clog up the boards..
AS I SAID IN THE THREAD LAST NIGHT:
It makes perfect sense that there are themed boards...
when there were NONE...OH THE COMPLAINTS about how the boards are clogged up by sports crap, Pet crap and so on and so on...
So Ron thought he would give us the themed boards...
So more focused threads could be posted..BRILLIANT...
JUST because some people cannot follow the boards doesn't mean it is silly.
CELEB POSTS......CELEB BOARD
PET POSTS.....PET BOARD
SPORTS POSTS....HOMETEAM BOARD
HOME POSTS....HOME BOARD
Family Q's....FHF
Intimate/interpersonal POSTS....RELATIONSHIP BOARD
really not all that hard to figure out..
It just brings some order to the boards
If we had ONE board...CAN YOU IMAGINE the Chaos and mess it would be...????? I mean come on...can you imagine how many posts there are on all the boards in a given day..
What i find interesting is that ONLY NOW....the start of the Celeb board...do people now have issues with the theme boards..

YES NFR gets the most posts..
MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE if peeps used the boards the way they are designed to....then the views and responses would be evenly dispersed
and to the peeps that feel..."don't like it, don't read it"
if you don't like the LIF design...one could say...don't come to LIF.
Otherwise...maybe shoot Ron a complaint..

I have to say I hate having so many boards for this exact reason. I don't have the time or energy to check 20 dif boards, I just usually come here. And I feel that what makes it good is it is 'general' and their are lots of different topics.

Guess how many posts LIF receives daily?
Answer: Over 4,000 with many days reaching over 5,000.  (and growing daily) For those that want to keep up with everything you can see it is impossible! Without multiple boards or should I say with one board it would be a mess. If you posted something at 10AM and came back at just 10:30 (30 minutes) your post would be buried on page 4 or 5 or maybe even deeper. There would be hardly any replies. Thus having multiple boards helps organize everything and helps you to only have to see or monitor the subjects that interest you. So in reality more boards is a better use of everyone's time and resources.
