It's more like Simba lets us sleep on the bed. 
All we have to say is Sim time for bed and he takes a galloping start, jumps into the bed, places his head on the pillow and takes up the whole bed. Then when one of us goes to push him over so we can get into bed, he looks at us like "oh excuse me I was here first"
When we're all in bed I guess it's just too small for his liking, picks his furry butt up and then goes and sleeps under the ferrets cage, but before he leaves he grabs the blankets and takes them with him.
It's a nightly ritual to fight the dog for the bed and blanket but he is just so lovable and that face....so we let him have his way and accomodate to his needs

Casey is not allowed to sleep in the bed.
I have a hard enough time sharing the bed with my DH, we can't throw a dog in there too

No way.... The thought of it kinda skeeves me out also, just doesn't seem sanitary to me. Our dog is not allowed on any furniture except an old futon that we don't use. He has a big fluffy pillow on the floor in the living room and his bed in our room.

YES! I thought it might be on the strange side till we had a pup. Now DH and love snuggling with her. In the morning we wake up and her little head is on the pillow between us, just like she's one of us. She's so happy and so are we.

No - they are too big to sleep with us. Sometimes I let Bear lay with me (when DH isn't around). He cuddles and sleeps under the blanket with me. Nakita never really wanted to come up.

Our cats used to until our spiteful little girl pooped on it once  Since then they've been banned from our bedroom which is so much nicer now because there used to be so much cat hair in the bedroom.

I never in a million years thought I would ever have a dog. Then - I never in a million years thought I would let the dog sleep on my bed. I do both. I don't mind it. Molly is pretty small so she doesn't take up that much room.
She won't sleep with us every night - but sometimes she will.
Same here but she's 75lbs, snores and runs a marathon in her sleep but I love my mushball!!

Auto has his own bed but usually likes to sleep in our room. He will never come up into the bed.

Our bed is Emmie's bed
But, she's only 10 lbs and doesn't take up much room. If she was a shedder, I dont' think I would let her sleep in the bed.
Chloe (the cat) tucks me in and puts me to sleep, then finds a nice spot on top of my dresser.
