Sorry Emily is so sick. Cuddling definitely helped Andrew when he had it -- he didn't really sleep otherwise.

Poor Emily! Poor Mommy!
Have you tried a warm bath with "sleepytime" soap? That sometimes calms my kids enough that they are at least ready to rest. Also, I think the vapors in the nighttime babywash are good for a sore throat. My heart goes out to both of you!

Thankfully I actually haven't had too hard of a time putting her to sleep since she is exhausted. She's falling esleep fine -- just woke up a few times inthe night but I'm glad of that because I was able to take her temp and make sure it wasn't super high. She is starting to get some of her normal personality back here and there -- so hopefully we'll see an improvement tomorrow. My DH is going away for a long weekend tomorrow so I'll be all alone in this -- so I really HOPE that she does better.

THanks girl, I could have really used a break today. I was praying that some superstrong immune-system bearing babysitter would miraculously walk through the door so that I could just lay down and nap for at least a little while. I did lay down for a few minutes towards the end of one of her shorter naps (she actually took 3 naps today! she's wiped out!) but I just layed there waiting for her to wake up -- I couldn't relax.
I am praying for this to be over soon. Now my DH is getting sick and the people who live downstairs have it -- at least thier daughter -- she told me tonight---I don't know how the heck it passed through the floor!!
