OMG, what kind of car is it? I remember a while ago there was a bunch or robberies of headlights on Maximas, they are very expensive, so thieves got good money for them!! Sorry!! I will start paying attention. Usually I just click the button if it goes off because I have a screen on my alarm that shows why and which area of the car went off.

OMG! That is crazy! Something similar happened to us a few weeks ago....we heard "an alarm" going off for awhile but DH said it wasn't his. (I looked out the window and saw my neighbor being dropped off) We were actually annoyed that someone wasn't turning it off cause we were in bed. The next morning we were going shopping and DH walked around to the drive side to get into his car and his face dropped.....someone had hit it and the whole drives side was smashed in (to the point that he couldn't open the door!) We ended up finding out it was my neighbor across the streets friend.

Infiniti I30, which uses the SAME glass and plastic that go in all of the Nissan vehicles.
and, yes, the unit alone is approx $500. plus the dent they made kicking it out and rewiring where they cut the wires.
If they are HID lights... they will cost close to a grand each at the dealer most likely. But your insurance should cover this against your deductable.
