Did you get a raise? I have so many similar stories where I walked out of there thinking "oh not so bad..." and then I would get home and be like, "wait a minute! what the hell just happened? i still have no money!".
But, if you are happy with the outcome then that is all that matters.

A little bit better than when I left on Friday...but I'm okay with it for now. I think they see me as more of a fighter now, rather than a complaisant employee.
DH better keep his Wall Street job! LOL!
