wish me luck- update for day #2
I go back to work today and it should be interesting. I'm curious to see what my kids think of their 35.5 week pregnant dance teacher. 
UPDATE- So today was my second day back and let me tell you, it was definitely tougher than yesterday. I was a little sore from yesterday (really just my back) but now I feel a little sore in my legs too and my back hurts even more.  Yesterday I only taught for 1.5 hours and today was 4 hours, so I'm sure that's a big part of it.
Tomorrow I teach for 4.5 hours and then Thursday for 5.75 hours. I'm going to be exhausted by Friday- thank God I'm off on Fridays. Hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things after this week.

So today was pretty fun! Monday's are my easiest days, I just have two hip hop classes. They went really well and I'm pretty sure the kids had fun. My big belly didn't even get in the way and I don't even feel sore.
As of now I have no one helping me, and probably won't have an assistant. My mom is going to cover my classes for two weeks so I can take a maternity leave- if two weeks even counts. She's totally doing it begrudgingly, but atleast she's doing it- so I can't really complain.

 Only 2 weeks? Have you told your doctor this? I don't know if you can go back to dancing 2 weeks after giving birth. I'm sorry but I am still soooo shocked that your mom won't help you more.

I'm sure if I wind up needing a C-section she will help me longer (she'll have to) but she's made it very clear that she doesn't want to do it at all. She's doing it just so I don't lose my business. Of course if my health is in jeopardy I'm sure she'll help out.

I agree! I think in the end as stubborn as shes going to be prior...shes gonna help you. BTW...I give u credit...at 29 weeks...theres no way in HE!! I am doing Hip Hop!

I give you major props, Nicole -- as of this past weekend I feel like I can barely make my 10 block walk to/from the train station to work every day ... I don't think there would be any way in hell I could teach a dancing class at 36 weeks

Nicole I can't believe you taught hip hop today at 35 weeks! I give you credit I hope your mom comes around and helps you out more. You deserve more than 2 weeks!! I'll come babysit!!
