absolutely without a doubt. You have the rest of your lives to be together 1 week apart is nothing. Enjoy the cruise you have his support!!

I would go. It's only a week and you should be able to enjoy yourself even if he has to work. Sometimes life doesn't sync and you just have to roll with it.

I think I would miss him too much if it were for a whole week. For a few days it would be okay though.

Yes, I've done it before. Not a cruise, but DH is tied to his family business and can't take a lot of time off, so I went one year to our family's vacation without him. He encouraged me to go!

I would, especially since he is supportive about it. I wouldn't go away for much longer though. We were apart for a month the last time i went to the Philippines, and that $ucked.

i wouldnt want to go without him for a week. a couple of days , fine , but a week is a big chunk of time to take off work and to be on vacation without him. id feel a little lonely.

id rather save that time for a vacation together.

i wouldn't. i went to flrida for a few days without dh and i missed him a lot. a cruise i would want to go with dh

I could not go on a vacation for a week without DH I would so lonely. I can do like like 2 or 3 days but not an entire week.

my dad wants me to go skiing in italy with him for 2 weeks come january (used to be an annual tradition). DH doesn't ski and since we would be in the mountains with nothing else to do, it would be a waste for him.

if i can scrounge up the cash, i'll go for a week...

I decided not to go. I would really miss him too much and would feel bad going while he is working. I guess I am more old fashioned than I thought!

Absolutely!! I just got back from a cruise with my mom. I missed DH, but being away from him for a week and then the exciting embrace when I came home was awesome. Sometimes you need a little alone time. And since our wedding two and a half years ago, I haven't really spent too much quality time with my mom and I can tell you this meant the wold to her. She wrote the most beautiful note in my b-day card about how much she cherished the time we got to spend together. I say definitely go, have a great time with your family and DH will be waiting excitedly when you come home!!!
