Re: Insecure In Your Relationship

If I didn't completely trust him, I wouldn't have married him. I am actually the one who usually wants to do my own thing more than he does anyway Chat Icon

Re: Insecure In Your Relationship

I voted sometimes. He doesn't give me a reason, just my own insecurities. I have seen so many people blindsighted by cheating significant others, I guess I am always on my toes.

Re: Insecure In Your Relationship

OMG...NO....And Im a pretty insecure person so its funny that this is one area Im not.

I think it comes down to trust and my husband may be one of the only people I truly trust.

His friends often say how lucky he is because of what I let him do, and then I start to question if maybe I'm too secure....but like I said...if he wants to go somewhere...GO....Thankfully he chooses to do not so much out of hand other then hooters that I dont like..and thats more laughable to me then anything ( those girls are not the prettiest women in the world so Im secure there)....

Re: Insecure In Your Relationship

Not insecure about my marriage AT ALL, I would never have gotten married if there was the slightest insecurity

I voted sometimes... though it's not really insecurity in my relationship, more with myself. I think alot of people go through this at times in their relationships. I only feel insecure in my relationship when I'm feeling insecure about myself, never because he gives me any reason to be.

This is me, to a T.

No. My insecuritites stem from myself, not anything that DH did or does.

Ditto.

The weird thing is- Contrary to most people- i was never insecure in any past relationships, and that was mainly because i didn't really care enough, to be honest. If i had been cheated on (though, to my knowledge, i never was), i felt like 'whatever, i'll move on'. But, when i met DH, i felt completely different. I was never insecure, and i trust him more than anyone in the world, but it worried me to care sooooo much for someone. I think it was more the idea of 'this one does really mean something to me', that made me worry about ever losing it. I dont know if that makes any sense, bu i guess it was just the realization that i couldn't be that 'Completely independant, i can move on from anyone' Person anymore, and That scared the crap out of me.

I have to agree with you.
I also think that even though you trust your SO, you should also not be nieve about it. There are many people who thought their SO would not cheat or do other things behind their back and they found out many years later that they did.

Re: Insecure In Your Relationship

No way! Dh is my best friend, my soulmate, my other half. He is the 1 person in the world (besides my blood relatives) that i feel I can COMPLETELY trust.
