actually how do u do this? lol..im not even being sarcastic i wanted to repaint my tub is that possible? it got some old blue stain on it thats etched into the porcelin
My bathtub is cast iron covered in porcelain, and the porcelain has worn off. It has this sandy texture that is a beyatch to clean. So it gets all kinds of stains. 
I'm doing it myself, with a kit from a hardware store. You clean the tub, dry it and paint the glaze on. You can't use the tub for two days. The building manager SHOULD be doing it, but I have to do it if I want it done right.  The kit, paintbrushes, tape and plastic shouldn't cost me more than $50.
I called a few places that do reglazing, and it runs from $650-$770. I figure its worth it to try it myself. The difference seems to be that professionals acid etch the tub before applying the glaze, and I am skipping that step.

We don't have any plans either. DH is working on Monday though. Maybe he'll surprise me with something for just the two of us....wishful thinking.

BBQ here Sat with Mom and BIL/SIL
BBQ at friends's for her bday on Sunday
Monday morning meeting with 2 friends to plan baby shower
That's it. Nothing really too exciting.
