My MOH's DH served at the very beginning. I have a childhood friend serving now.
I didn't see the other part of the ?...my dad has been in the Army Reserves since I was a child. He's in the infirmary.

Dh is/was a Marine.. he has a year left in the IRR
He was in Iraq for 6 months when the war first started.

My cousin is in the Marines. She served in the Gulf War and now she is over in Iraq. She volunteered to be stationed there. Another cousin is in the Navy. He came back from Iraq the day before our wedding. It was his 2nd time there.

hubby's youngest cousin is in the Army. He was in Iraq, came home, and then went back.

i knew a couple of peopled that served in iraq...out of 5 i knew, 2 never made it back...
1 of them was the first long islander killed in action.....
