It's likea sicillian (rectangular, thick crust, usually) but it has a lot of sauce and garlic and olive oil and fresh mozzarella.... I don't know what the exact distinction is, but it's GOOD. it tastes like homemmade

It's got a slight kick to the sauce and has fresh basil on it yummy. The crust is similar to Sicilian but not as thick.

I think its thinner than a sicilian usually. I love grandma pizza.

SERIOUSLY! A couple of weeks ago there was a Friday post about pizza...needless to say I had to get pizza that night!

The sauce is more garlicy. It's definitely different (and IMO better) than Sicilian pizza.

I have to say...when I'm feeling daring, I enjoy a Grandpa slice ocassionally- Breadcrumbs, Sauteed onions, provologne, on a thick sicilian slice.

I think a lot of the NY/LI Ginos are related.
I LOVE Gino's in Howard beach..and they are open late. I eat dinner at midnight, so it works out!
