Re: Benjamin Moore vs Behr
Benjamin Moore is definitely higher quality paint. It covers very nicely being that it is so much thicker than Behr. I have used both and now I know the difference. It's only a few extra bucks more and it is so worth it. A neighbor of my parents is a professional painter and he will only use BM. I think that priming is key to painting any walls. Especially ones where you are painting a dark color, you'd then use a tinted primer. Never paint red without it.

Re: Benjamin Moore vs Behr
We painted 3 rooms in our house over the summer. I started out using Benjamin Moore because I heard it was a better quality paint but it was AWFUL!! Yes, it's thicker than Behr but it left these awful streaks, even after 2 coats. We painted over it with Behr and it looks great!

Re: Benjamin Moore vs Behr
Benjamin Moore. We bought Behr (WHITE) recently to repaint our basement and DH had to repaint the walls 3 times and this was after putting primer on the walls. The coverage was awful.
