I've been to Aruba 14 times..2xs since Natalie.
I am very familiar with the island , there are NOT many places to hide a body..where under a cactus?...he definetly had intentions with "getting busy" with her..as she did with him. As for what happened after.... ?????????
I'm so surprised you think there are not a lot of places to hide a body....
We rented a jeep while we were there in January...we went also where the water is rough...If you get thrown in there...you are gone....and they have all these big rocks on that side as well.....
On our way back, we took another road that wasn't that populated.....I definitely think a native from the island that knows well..can dig up and bury a body.....
I personally do think that they can definitely make someone disappear.

Why did he move all the way over to Holland?
Aruba was a Dutch colony up until 1998.. it did & still has strong ties with HOLLAND.
It is totally normal for Arubean kids to go to the Netherlands to get higher education since the highest form of education on the island is H.S.
Thats why he went to Holland.

There is NO evidence to prove that he had a motive or that he killed her.
I don't "like" him but I also don't believe he killed her. Just my gut feeling backed up by the lack of evidence and by all the foolish mistakes SHE made.
then why did he and his friends feel the need to LIE AND LIE AND LIE...when they were looking for her

Oh he made them also..but come on, just what were HER intentions when she got into a car with 3 guys (2 of whom she never saw) in a foreign country? Did she think they were a Taxi service?

You sit there and say innocent until proven guilty yet pass judgements on a person who probably is DEAD...
Can you say you know ANYTHING about her?
She was a stupid teenager...yea maybe.
But to sit there and question her and what she did to cause whatever happened to her SICKENS ME. I am sure she had no intentions of disappearing, of being killed, of never returning home, of never seeing or hearing from her family ever again...I AM SURE she didn't sit there and think of these things that night. She was a kid. Someone who possibly never thought of the BAD things that could happen to her. She was INNOCENT IMO.
Does that make her the "perfect person" no...but that doesn't mean ANYTHING nor did it mean that she deserved what happened to her.
And for this one mistake...that possibly has taken her life....YOU JUDGE HER...You sit there and say well...it is her fault too? O M G
WHAT wE can judge that piece of crap liar...because he is doind the talking and the LYING.
Did you think of the possibility that she was drugged?
And to be quiet honest... you may have been to Aruba 2xs but expert that does not make you.

I said "innocent until proven guilty" because last I looked,those are our American standards? unless things have changed since I've studied Criminal Justice. Sheesh! This case is so emotional because there is so much hearsay,the story was changed X amount of times..by the accused,by the authorities.
No,I am not an authority on Aruba & I have not been there twice in total...twice since her dissapearance,14 times in total..we have timesharing,my family is always there (my sister is there as we speak!). I am VERY familiar with the island..it is small,basically flat and almost impossible to dig,it is not regular soil. It is sickening that because of ONE case,ppl would actually think of boycotting..then imagine what the fate of NY would be!
Sure,there are rough seas on the other side of the island,even by the lighthouse...if she was thrown into sea,wouldn't some fragment of her,her clothing wash ashore or possibly get cought on the sharp rock? That island was combed over several times by authorities there,authorities from the US,local volunteers..even the sea was searched. The people of the island were given off time from work to search for the missing girl...when was the last time any of us went searching for anyone here in NY?
& guess what??? I am NOT sorry for any of my comments.. I have no remorse for someones bad judgement...how can any of you refute that she put herself in the line of danger????? I am sure that there is so much more to this story that none of us know:
-Natalee also called her mom that last day to ask if she can extend her trip,her mom said no.
-she had run away on other occasions(once while on a trip to the Dominican Republic)
Maybe her life wasn't such a happy one as was painted. Could she have run away again? Comitted suicide?
The original posters on the island said "Missing Girl" her pic .. & Natalee, mommy is here on the island,call me at this # even her mother thought she ran away again. I saw those posters,do a search,maybe it comes up..or if you are interested..a HUGE thread is dedicated to her & any updates on aruba.com.
I'm not freakin' inhumane,its sad & I'm sorry for all involved that it seems at this point..it'll just go on as an unsolved case,as there are THOUSANDS every year here in the US.
If yo can make an argument for her lack of judgement by saying "she's a teenager,she made some mistakes"..same could be said for Juron the teenaged gigalo he & his friends lied in the past 'cause they were caught off guard. If they planned & murdered her,wouldn't they be like "Ok,this is the story if we get caught or if they ask us" plus no DNA evidence anywhere...no evidence at all?
Flame if you must,I'd rather have a conversation about the case than what was she wearing,what school she attended..blahblah irrelavant.

andri...what got me 'fired up' is the fact that you seem to defend more the accused, then the possible victim in this case!! add to that the insensitive remarks about her judgement, and it just makes for an unnerving read.
you have "no remorse" for her bad judgement??? but do you have remorse in your heart at the possiblity that b/c of her bad judgement, she may have been killed??? shouldn't defending aruba take a backseat to this heartwrenching possibility?????
also add to that your constant need to remind everyone how often you've visited the island, and how you're "very familiar" with aruba. so what. so are the locals who live there. "where there's a will, there's a way" is how the saying goes, so if they wanted to be rid of her body, they'd find a way to do it.
i ask you this, how would you feel about your precious aruba, if it turned out that the LOCALS from the island were responsible for what happened to Natalie?? if they in fact did get rid of her body?
as for joran....this kid knows more than he's saying. plain and simple. he left his shoes on the beach?? why? b/c he "just did"...i don't buy that for a bleeping second. something happened. he panicked. which is WHY he FLED to Holland! not b/c his brain was itching for more knowlegde!! that's a load of CR@P!!!
and so they have a HUGE thread dedicated to her on aruba.com! in doing this, they're being proactive, and not giving up on this case. that's good.
i have very close friends that go to aruba every year, for the past 10 years. their entire family goes! mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, cousins.....all ages...
well, this particular year, something bad happened!!
i won't get into details, but because of the lack security and/or training of security personnel, a MAJOR screw up occurred...attornies here in the states were contacted...corporate office of that hotel was called, and within 24 hours, several changes were made to that particular hotel's policies!!
