passed the 1st time!   I was the only one of my friends who did 
the downside of that was... guess who the chauffeur was?

I passed on the first try! I thought I was going to fail- had to pull over and readjust the seat because I couldn't reach the pedal that well.

I have taken the test in the following countries in this order:
UK: Passed 1st time
Ireland: 3rd time I swear they fail you on purpose over there so the gov. can make more money.
US: Passed 1st time

That test in Ireland is killer. They always make you drive up a hill & then stop, then if you roll backward when you go again they fail you...it IS a trap I tell ya
When my best friend from HS moved there, she took me to go practice cuz they kept failing her when she rolled backward on the hil...hello, it is a hill & they are stick shift cars!

My first test there I failed because I overtook three cyclists on one of those hills in Wicklow town

First try, and apparently no one in the history of my family has ever failed We always tell my cousins this right before they go for their test ( I have a lot of cousins!!!)
