Dh's has one, but it is employees only. I know that last year he was the star of kareoke.

You have no idea the number of parties that this place throws. It's ridiculous. Most are employees only and take place in the respective building but some are rented out bars, halls etc. One is at Mulcahy's.
I'm looking at my calendar right now for the next month and no lie, I have 5 marked down. And those are only a few of the so-called "in-house" parties. I'm sure I'm missing at least 3 right now, I just don't know the dates yet.
Granted, the "in-house" parties are nothing more than an extended luncheon (2 - 3 hrs) in a boardroom or something like that but still...food, wine, beer, music, etc.
I get no work done in December!

LOL! what a fun job!!!
Every year ours was held at Le Cirque in the city, but since last year was the restaurants final year, we're having it at the Chairman's private club. FUN FUN FUN

Yes, it's our office party and we have a great time every year. This year we're doing Jimmy Hays in Island Park & then The Brokerage to see Gumba Johnny!!! Can't wait.

We have a luncheon on the last day of work. Our department does a dinner with significant others. My DH has a company only party that he goes to, but his department use to do a dinner which use to be soooo much fun, but this year no one stepped up to do it so he does not think they are having one.

Our is next Tuesday and I am not looking forward to it. Free food and drinks but I will be with people I dont want to be with! And SOs are not invited.
DHs is usually at a lounge somewhere - SOs are invited - I usually have a blast.

It's going to be where we work but a new annex.

There is one through the Union at a catering hall/restaurant. It should be good. There is food and dancing and drinks.
