thanks for the kind words, everyone.
I ended up leaving work at 7:30 - I was at the service by 8.
I've never cried so much at a wake in my life. The flag ceremony was heartbreaking - 2 marines, Taps, the folding of her casket flag, etc. they handed it to her daughter, and you could hear her sobs.
I can't even begin to imagine what her life is like....she is one amazing girl.

I am so sorry I think just being there for the family afterwards is a great gift. There is such a whirlwind during the wake/funeral time and then....reality hits.
I couldn't agree more!
I am very sorry for your loss, give your parents these and keep one for yourself too!
