When Using A Public Bathroom
do you flush as you pee....I hate the "peeing" noise. I flush because I don't want others to hear me.  Is it just me....

flush as you go sounds like you are doing #2 and doing a curtosey flush. so i dont want people thinking im doing that when im not.

I don't flush. It's too hard to maneuver that as I am squatting and peeing. I hate touching the toilet handle in public restrooms.

I don't flush when I pee because I heard all these terrible things about what's in the water and you don't want that disgusting, horrible, disease-ridden water touching the holiest of wholies 
They did some study on the water splashing up and what was in that water. Just be careful!

LOL, no. The reason why I dont is b/c I skeeve public toilet water to begin with, and if a splash even comes close to hitting me, I must get to a shower immediately, and when at work, that is impossible.

yeah I know, thats why I close the toilet seat cover before I flush so all that stuff doesnt get on toothbrushes

So, funny story, speaking of public bathrooms...
So, I have this thing that when I use a public bathroom, I MUST use a paper towel to open turn off the faucet after I use it and to open the door with. I skeeve ppl.
So, anyway, I walk into the bathroom at my job the other day and this girl was washing her FEET in the sink. Then she proceeds to a stall where she urinates and then leaves the bathroom without washing her hands.
So, now I can tell people that the reason I use a paper towel on the door is so that I don't get other people's urine, feces or foot fungus on my hands!

Same here. Everyone's pee makes a sound - it's normal. I certainly would rather people hear me pee than flush and have toilet-splash
Public bathrooms skeeve me beyond belief - I avoid touching everything with bare skin. I was so happy when we moved to our new office building and they installed automatic soap dispensers and faucets

Mythbusters did a segment on this. The only thing that may lessen the amount of particles that get on the toothbrush was to keep them in a different room. Lid up or down had little differences.
