same as beth, there is no need for eatting comment. A lady I use to work with loved looking at my desk to see what I was eating and commenting on it.
Also, I don't know if it is just me, but MIL saw 8 week sonogram and called to tell us the baby looked just like Leo. Um, Leo wasn't throwing his guts up, Leo was drinking beer at barbques..cut me some slack, how can someone tell at the 8 week sonogram anyway?

Janice, I think it is vitrually impossible for your baby to look like Leo at 8 weeks post fertilization. I don't even think they have limbs at that point, never mind facial features

A co-worker was telling me how if you are preggo w/ a girl your hips get really wide. Then she says to me turn around let me see your back, then she says you are definitely having a girl!
(She was right but I am sure it had nothing to do w/ the hips!)

Ya know...I think you are right that at 8 weeks you cant tell but I have to say at my level 2 sono...the face forward pics showed my baby with an oval head and I definitely have the oval and my dh has a round head. I wonder if at any point you can see traits from a black and white sono.

I agree .. at my 9 week sono, the little peanut look exactly like that - a PEANUT!! There was NOOO way to tell whether it looked like anyone at that point

i still go with an ob saying "you know, you can excericse while pregnant" and "you can break a meal into two..and save for later"  (guess I am still not over it!)

This is the one that 2 people I work with have said and it pizzes me off!!!! "You have the waddle already!" First of all I have a little belly in the front, second of all when they said this to me at 5 months I seriously doubt I had a need to waddle, and third of all I always mope at work (NOT to be confused with waddling), I walked like this before I was PG, and I'll walk like this after!

DH always says stuff like that. I can't help it that I'm hungry every couple of hours and he can eat once a day and be ok.
