When did you stop working while preggo??

I am approaching 37 weeks and pooping out! Just was curious when everyone stopped....... TIA

With my first, I had planned to stop 1 week before my EDD, thinking I was going to go late too and would have some time. Well, he came early, so I actually stopped work on the Friday before he was born on a Sunday!

I stopped at the 38 week mark - 2 weeks before my due date. He of course came late so I was home and bored for 3 weeks!

With my next - I am going to try my best to stick it out even longer!

My plan was to stop 3 days before my due date- I ended up going a week early.
I was so uncomfortable at the end, I would have liked to have stopped sooner.

I worked up until the day I delivered... well, the day before - I delivered on a Saturday

My friend is due tomorrow with her first and she is at work today! She is crazy! But, she wants to be able to spend all of her maternity time with the baby. She said she will stop next week if the baby is late.

I worked on a Friday, had Saturday off because it was my shower and Hayley decided to arrive the next day - 5 weeks early. I was originally planning on taking off 2 weeks before she was due because I was getting so uncomfortable.

I'm due Mar 14th, last day is Mar 3rd unless any unforseen circumstances arise.

I worked the day I got induced.

34 weeks. I had high BP and they took me out of work. I was basically begging for it though too. I am a pharmacist so being on my feet 8 hours a day in a busy store was really taking its toll on me.

I originally planned to work up to my due date or at least a week before. I had some late complications and life became hectic and commuting in the snow got worse so changed it to two weeks before. But my son came 3 weeks early and changed all my plans. My water broke about an 1-2 hours after I got home from work on the 1st day of my 37th week. Luckily it did not happen on the LIRR!!

I originally planned to work until my due date but stopped 2 weeks before because I was swelling in my ankles and feet (i'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts, walking around, lifting patients, etc..) and I just physically couldn't do it anymore.

I stopped at 36 weeks. My job was very hectic and required mandatory overtime every night (finacial industry) and it was just draining. Plus the fact I fell in the parking lot my dr said she wanted me to rest as much as possible

For Maddie, I stopped commuting in 3 weeks before my due date but worked from home until she was born (at 39 weeks).

For Joseph, I worked up until he was born (34 weeks). Actually my water broke & I was considering going to work but didn't want to deal with the leaking. That all changed once the contractions started...

I was about 36 weeks. I had enough at that point and could no longer go in everyday. My job is also very stressful and it was really getting to me.

i stopped two weeks before my due date. gave me some time to myself and get everything set up. and time to rest before the lil one came.

I stopped commuting about 1 week before my date but continued to work from home til I left for the hopsital.

Claire was born 8 days late on a Sunday. I worked up till that Friday, so 6 days past my due date. I wanted to use all my maternity time with the baby.

I stopped at 36 weeks. I suffered from edema and there was a bus strike at the time, I couldnt even get up and down the subway stairs with my cankles.

I stopped 2 weeks before the due date and she was exactly on time she came on her due date

I would of liked to work till the end but I couldn't handle the rush hour subways being 9 moths prego so I Was happy to not have to travel an hour each way into the city

I was put on bedrest at 34 weeksm but still went in for meetings and training my replacement everyday. My last day was a Friday night and I gave birth Sunday Morning.
